50 Creations Before Shopping...

Well, when I looked through my stash the other day I discovered that I have waaaay to many papers, decorations and stamps that just are laying around and that I totally forgot about. That's why I decided to make 50 creations before I will buy any new scrapbooking stuff. I got the idea from a Swedish Scrapbooking forum. I can only buy cardstock and glue and so on, you know stuff you use on a regular basis when you're crafting. I also decided that DT work doesn't count.

Here is my first project, a money-box. I also decided that I will put 10 Swedish crowns in a money-box for each creation I make. That way I will have 500 crowns for my next shopping spree. I altered an old mini Pringles can, perfect to use as a money-box. I also got the idea for the money-box on the same forum.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

- Allsorts Challenge Blog, week 88: Saving Nature (Recycled Pringles can and I used flowers from another project)
- Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays: A Punchy Challenge
- Stamptacular Sunday Challenge, challenge # 96: Whateva
Here is the money-box. I thought the image from Whiff of Joy was just perfect and it's also a miniature stamp so the size was great for the little can.

Papers: "Pink Geometric Findings" from the Vintage Findings Collection by Making Memories, the green patterned paper is from Panduro Hobby
Stamp: "Shopping Willow" by Wiff of Joy (miniature stamp)
Details: Flowers by Prima, Pysslotetek, Panduro Hobby and Wild Orchid Crafts, Tiny Type Letters from Cosmo Cricket, The Handbag is from Little Snippets Etsy Store, Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch, Stickles "Star Dust"

  5. Great idea ! I think I will have to do this to since I have way too much paper in my stash. I also put some embellies I have had for a long time in a box and I have to use all of them before August 1 :-)

    Cute money box !
