I tried some new (to me) card types this month. The design team have been sponsored with some lovely digis from Fred She Said this month and I choose two cute images of Emma.

First a made a Shaker Card using Emma the Snow Angel. I just knew I had to try and make a Shaker Card when I saw this image. Lovely...

Spooky - By the Cute and Girly

My favourite season is here, and also my favourite month of the year - October.

And as you all know by now, a new month means a new challenge over at By the Cute and Girly. This months theme is Spooky and is hosted by Lisa.

I just love the Halloween colours - green, orange, purple and black all together, so my first card have those colours and is shaped like a pumpkin.  Well, we don't really celebrate Halloween here in Sweden but I had a lot of fun doing this card anyway.

I got the idea for the second "card" when I saw the Alice in Wonderland movie and the Hallowe'en in Wonderland Collection from Graphic 45 suited perfectly! I decided to make a tea pot. :) I found a great template in the latest number of Magnolia Ink Magazine (lucky me that I didn't have to draw one myself), which I enlarged.

And of course, just like in the movie, Alice is hiding in the tea pot...

The last project for the October challenge is a lay out of something I think is really spooky: cobwebs. But how can something this beautiful be so spooky?

Indian Summer - By the Cute and Girly

A Summery Lay Out

I made a lay out tonight and I was so pleased with it that I wanted to share it with you. I have made it to my friend but I have chosen to hide the face. It feels better that way. This is from when we went to an amusement park here in Stockholm. It's part of the Summer to take a trip to an amusement park and also to eat cotton candy. :)

Warm Summer Days Challenge - By the Cute and Girly

A new month, a new challenge over at By the Cute and Girly and this month it's time for me to host the challenge. Now, the weather here in Sweden is fantastic right now. The sun is shining, the sky is clear blue and you rather spend the days at the beach than working. 

We just celebrated Midsummer, which I think is one of the most important holidays here in Sweden. Very traditional with raising and dancing around the maypole and picking flowers. Many people wear crowns made of wild flowers on their heads. The year's first potatoes, soused herring, chives, sour cream, beer, snaps and the first strawberries of the season are on the menu. And lets not forget about the snapsvisor. :)

Celebration Challenge - By the Cute and Girly

It's time for another great challenge over at By the Cute and Girly's blog. This time the theme is Celebrations and it's hosted by Ayelet. It fits very well because it is now officially Spring here in Sweden. On the 30th of April each year we lit bonfires and celebrate that the Spring is here.

Älskade farmor

Scrappade en LO med ett av mina favoritkort på farmor.
Tyckte att Eva Dahlgrens låt "Ängeln i rummet" passade så bra in på
henne för det är så jag ser henne, som en ängel i mitt rum...

Jag scrappade en LO med mormor och morfars bröllopsfoto och den fick hon fick i julklapp av mig. Hon blev jätteglad och ramade in den och nu hänger den på hennes vägg. :)
