Indian Summer - By the Cute and Girly

I can't believe that it's the 1st of September already. Where did the time go? As you all know by now, a new month means a new challenge over at By the Cute and Girly. This month Nnalorac is hosting the challenge and she's chosen Indian Summer as challenge theme. As always you can make whatever you like as long as it fits the theme. We have some great prizes to win so go and check it out. Don't forget to have a look at the other girls gorgeous makes.

The first of my two creations for this month is a card shaped as a heart. For this month the Design Team was sponsored with some digital images from Whimsy Stamps.

Papers: Bazzill Canvas Cardstock "White", Basic Grey "Cedar" from their Indian Summer-collection
Stamp: "Maya blowing bubbles" from Whimsy Stamps
Details: Ribbon from Skapa Hobby, Roses from Pyssloteket, Rhinestone Stickers "Crystal Clear" from You Do, Brad "Cherry" from American Crafts. I printed the text on my computer and used Star Dust Stickles on the roses. I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz "Vintage Photo" and used my edge scraper from Making Memories.

The second creations is a lay out from the Summer of 2008. This really felt like the last day of the Summer that year. I'm on my way to S:ta Annas Skärgård. (The archipelago.) A really beautiful place...

Papers: Bazzill Canvas Cardstock "White", Basic Grey "Russet" and "Cordovan" from their Indian Summer-collection
Details: Chipboard numbers from Panduro Hobby, letters from QK "Dragonfly", Glitter Stickers from Pictura and Mini Alpha Stickers "White and Chocolate" from Kaiser Craft, Ghost Clocks from Heidi Swapp, Timepiece from Tim Holtz, Brads "Cherry" from American Crafts, Pearl Stickers "Vintage Colours" from You Do, Die Cut from Quick Quotes Papers "Oh Lovely", Crochet Roses with Pearl Centers from Little Snippets Etsy Shop
