Children - By the Cute and Girly

Wow, I can't believe that it's already the month of December. What happened? Where did the year go? This months challenge theme over at By the Cute and Girly is Children and is hosted by Debby. As always you can make whatever you like as long as it fits the theme for this month. We have some great prizes to win from:

So come on over and join us and don't forget to have a look at the other girls lovely creations.

I tried some new (to me) card types this month. The design team have been sponsored with some lovely digis from Fred She Said this month and I choose two cute images of Emma.

First a made a Shaker Card using Emma the Snow Angel. I just knew I had to try and make a Shaker Card when I saw this image. Lovely...

Close Up on the image:

Papers: Bazzill Orange Peel Cardstock, Heidi Grace "Paisley" and "Snow Vines" (the back) from the Frost Blvd. Collection
Stamp: Emma the Snow Angel from Fred She Said
Details: Flowers from Wild Orchids Crafts and Pyssloteket, Rhinestone Stickers from You Do and Lace Ribbon from Panduro Hobby/Tilda. Doily Lace Edge Punch from Martha Stewart

I made the second card from a coffee filter. I saw it in a magazine and I thought it would be a fun idea to try.

The tag:
Papers: Cardstock, Glitz "Love Nest Polka" (both front and back) from the Love Nest Collection, Panduro Hobby/Scrappers Choice "Heart to Heart"
Stamp: Emma the Hugger - Snowman Edition from Fred She Said
Details: Roses from Panduro Hobby and Stellas, Flowers from Prima Essentials "Peaches", Brads and Organza Ribbon from Panduro Hobby, Pearls "Red" from Kaiser Craft, Chipboard Buttons from Lily Bee Design "Lovely Chipboard Stickers". Doily Lace Edge Punch from Martha Stewart.

My last creation is a layout. The photos are of my Childhood Heroes, a band that I really loved and still love: Europe.

Papers: Rusty Pickle "Rock Star" from the Brass Knuckles Collection, Basic Grey "Lipstick Red" from the Bittersweet Collection, Sassafraslas "Line Up" from the Monstrosity Collection
